What a successful bike drive we had for our Adopt-a-School!! When presented with a project to reach out to kids, our congregation steps up without hesitation. We were able to collect enough to sponsor 35 bicycles, and the school staff was thrilled. The bike give away will happen in March and we’ll be sure to post pictures of the happy recipients. Bless you all for caring!!
Our next project is next week when we host a dinner for the staff on Parent-Teacher Conference day. They work all day with children and meet with parents all evening. We step in to give them the support needed to keep going on such a long day. Thanks to the United Women in Faith and other generous donors for helping us bring a wonderful meal into the staff on their long day. Your generosity makes a big difference in their lives.
Volunteers are needed at the Tuesday, March 17, Science Night. It runs from 5:30 to 7:30 and lets children and parents interact with science in a fun way. If you are interested in helping, please contact Kathy Carpenter.
