School will be resuming all too soon at our Adopt-a-School, Hawthorne Elementary. It is already time to be helping out with backpacks, school supplies and snacks in preparation for the coming school year.
Suggested items: #2 pencils, markers, glue sticks, pocket folders, tissues, loose leaf paper, and scissors. Athletic shoes of all children’s sizes are also needed.
The food pantry at Hawthorne continues to supply hungry families with necessary food items. You can help out by donating:
- rice, beans, shelf stable milk, canned fruit, soups, peanut butter, cereals, canned meats, jerky, bottled juices
- Laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, deodorant, wet wipes, toilet paper, paper towels
