During this incredibly uncertain time, we continue to join together online for Sunday worship. Also check our Staying Connected page for more inspirational messaging.
If you know someone who does not have Internet access, please alert them to the Sermon by Phone program.
Each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. the new worship service becomes available on our new phone number. Simply dial in and listen to the whole service. It remains up for an entire week so the listener can call in anytime. When you call, there is a brief intro from Paul, and then the service follows. The phone number is 608.237.1695. We have sent a letter to those members who we know will be able to use this service.
Nourish your spirit
We have a tradition at First Church of welcoming first time visitors with a loaf of fresh baked bread. It’s a simple gesture of hospitality that says a lot about who we are as a congregation. We invite you to come and check us out. We promise you will be nourished in by the message, the music, the welcoming congregation; and the gift of bread.
When and where
Sunday morning worship is at 9 and 11:15 a.m. Both services incorporate traditional forms of worship through music, liturgy, scripture, and pastoral reflections crafted to inspire and challenge us.
You can also watch the service online live or at your convenience.
Wednesday mornings we offer a free breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by our “Come as You Are” worship service with the interfaith and human services community in Dane County from 9:45-10:15 a.m. This half hour of worship is for anyone who wants to grow closer to God through prayer, music, and scripture.
