The 2025-26 school year is off to a great start! If you recall, our “goals” at the start of last year were to help Hawthorne finally get soccer goals for their field. This spring the goals were installed and they are a HIT! Antonio Cruz-Rodriguez, the Hawthorne Community School Resource Coordinator, followed Gerry Kennedy’s guidance and got the lines painted (no small task). Many thanks to all who helped achieve this goal for the school. Check out the following district article that was written in honor of our efforts: https://www.madison.k12.wi.us/about/news/article/~board/newsstories/post/new-goals-bring-the-love-of-soccer-to-hawthorne-elementary Hurray, Antonio, Demco, and FUMC!!
