Dr. Anna Haensch, Data Centers, Season of Creation
In observance and celebration of the Season of Creation, the Green Team has planned the program for the Sharing Our Journeys class for each of the next two Sundays. On May 10th, the speaker will be Dr. Anna Haensch, Research Associate Professor, Data Science Institute, and Associate Director, Digital Scholarship Hub at UW-Madison Libraries at UW. Dr. Haensch will speak about data centers. Data centers have often been in the news in recent months, largely due to concerns about the large amounts of energy and water they consume.
