Weekly Spiritual Practice: January 18 – 24

Each day this week (if you so choose)

  • Notice one moment of joy, delight, or goodness. It can be small: a laugh, a song, a shared meal, a quiet moment.
  • When you notice it, pause and say:
    “This is a gift from God.”

You are not required to feel joyful. You are simply invited to make space when joy appears.

Questions for Contemplation

  • What kind of joy have I stopped making space for—and why?
  • When has choosing joy helped me stay connected, even when things weren’t going as planned?
  • How might shared joy strengthen me for the work of love and justice?
